Here’s how to get your free ticket to the West Coast Express Santa Train

Graphic of the West Coast Express Santa Train

The beloved West Coast Express Santa Train is back this year and will run on Saturday, Dec. 9 and 16. Santa Train riders can enjoy a day of holiday sights and sounds in Vancouver before taking the train back home.

Customers riding the Santa Train to downtown Vancouver are asked to donate a new, unwrapped toy to receive a return ticket for the West Coast Express Santa Train (the DayPass ticket is valid for the day only for all modes of transit including the SeaBus, SkyTrain, and bus.) One toy = one return ticket!

All donations benefit the local toy bureaus in the communities they’re received.

Mascots Holly & Jolly from the Vancouver Christmas Market will welcome Santa Train passengers and give out discounted admission passes to the market.

Santa will arrive at Waterfront station at 2:30 p.m. on both days for photos, along with members of the Transit Police K9 unit.

Don’t forget to shop our Holiday Pop-Up Shop at Waterfront Station on Saturday, December 9.
