Bringing joy to Metro Vancouver families has become a cherished tradition for TransLink’s Reindeer Bus!

After pledging $3,500 at the 37th annual Pan Pacific Children’s Wish Breakfast, Santa, Mrs. Claus, merry elves, and even a few reindeer embarked on our annual Toys for Tots drive. We visited bus depots and key transit hubs across the region to collect toys for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.

Thanks to the generosity of our staff, customers, and the community, we collected 5,581 toys and $3,277.90 this year — the second-highest toy donation total in the program’s history! We also achieved a major milestone: surpassing 100,000 toys donated to date.

In total, the Reindeer Bus and our Toys for Tots campaign have now collected a staggering 105,581 toys, ensuring a brighter holiday season for countless families across Metro Vancouver.
