Now arriving: Platform Pilsner, our first transit-inspired beer

What do you get when you mix local craft beer, community spirit, and love for transit? You get Platform Pilsner, TransLink’s limited-edition beer, brewed in collaboration with Patina Brewing Company!
Just in time for summer, Platform Pilsner is more than just a crisp, refreshing craft beer, it’s a celebration of the creative ways we’re teaming up with community partners to support local businesses and bring in new revenue that helps keep Metro Vancouver moving.
A toast to innovation and local partnerships
We’re always looking for innovative ways to support our region, whether that’s through new transit projects or exciting partnerships like this one. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Patina Brewing, a Tri-Cities favourite known not just for its top-notch beer, but also for meaningful collaborations, including their standout project with the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm First Nation for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Located near Port Coquitlam Station, a West Coast Express stop, Patina Brewing is deeply rooted in the community, and now, in transit culture too.
Behind the brew
Crafted with all Canadian ingredients by Patina’s expert brewers and brought to life with a can designed by TransLink’s in-house creatives. Platform Pilsner is a smooth, easy-drinking brew made for both craft-beer lovers and transit fans alike. Inspired by the West Coast Express, the can design features a bold livery and a nod to the platforms where countless Metro Vancouver journeys begin.
We’re producing only 1,500 four-can packs in this first batch, so don’t miss your chance to grab this limited-edition brew while it lasts.
Where to buy Platform Pilsner
You’ll be able to find Platform Pilsner exclusively at Patina Brewing in Port Coquitlam and at select liquor stores across Metro Vancouver this summer.
A creative way to keep Metro Vancouver moving
This partnership is part of our broader efforts to explore new ways of generating revenue beyond fares. Every dollar earned through collaborations like this goes toward supporting transit service and infrastructure, from more reliable buses to better walking and cycling connections.

Do you think it might be to bribe Translink to support their Anmore South development?? Good grief.
Greg Moore is CEO of Icona who is trying to get approval for a huge development in Anmore. TransLink has said they don’t have the resources to service it and busses every 15 min are part of their key traffic solutions. Interesting this sudden partnership.
