Come out and meet the new Mark V SkyTrain!
SkyTrain has been moving Metro Vancouver for nearly 40 years, and it’s about to get a facelift. We’re unveiling the new Mark V train at Waterfront Station and you’re invited to see it first, inside and out.
Join us for a Customer Open House at Waterfront Station on Thursday, July 10 starting at approximately 11 a.m. to meet your new Mark V SkyTrain.
That’s right, the next generation of SkyTrain cars is here, and we’re giving transit fans and curious riders a special sneak peek before the train enters service.
Whether you’re a die-hard transit enthusiast or just SkyTrain-curious, this is your chance to:
- Step inside the new Mark V and explore its fresh interior design
- Snap photos or selfies from inside and out
- Chat with our team about the upgrades and features
- Score some limited-edition Mark V memorabilia (while supplies last!)
Why you should get excited about the Mark V
The Mark V is part of our plan to expand and modernize SkyTrain service to keep pace with a growing region. These new trains are more spacious, more accessible, and more rider-friendly than ever, with features like more room for bikes and strollers, better lighting, and digital onboard info displays.
