Visit the TransLink Zone at the PNE Fair this summer!
The PNE Fair returns this year to send off the summer with a bang! Taking place from Aug. 16 to Sept. 1, there’s so much to do, and when you take transit, you’re in for a deal.
Visit us at the TransLink Zone, near the Hastings and Renfrew Street entrance for free fun, including everything below — and more!
Take a tour through our three transit vehicles on site and learn how to use the bike rack.
Step inside a popular double-decker bus and get a photo in the operator’s seat, check out a vintage bus from 1957 preserved by the Transit Museum Society, or take a break in our Outreach bus. The Outreach bus features an on board scavenger hunt.
If you’ve even felt intimidated by the bus bike rack, here’s your chance to take your time and try it out, and build confidence in taking your bike on transit. Bike + transit = endless possibilities!
Get a stamp or pickup your Transit Passport
Our Transit Passport program is in full swing this summer, and the PNE is a stop you won’t want to miss.
If you haven’t had the chance to pick up one, you can pick one up AND earn your first stamp at once! Visit our Passport Map to place a sticker on your favourite summertime destination to earn a stamp.
Looking to earn more stamps? Explore Metro Vancouver with TransLink’s self-guided, transit-friendly tours.
For more details about the Transit Passport and how you can enter to win a YEAR of free transit with it can be found at translink.ca/tours.
Pick up some transit swag
Exclusive TransLink trading cards are available at this year’s PNE Fair. These free limited-edition collector’s items feature five different designs representing the iconic transit fleet. Cards will be limited to one per person while supplies last. Can you complete the entire five card set?
There’s also fan-favourite vehicle cutouts available at the booth.
Hop on the PNE Express Train presented by TransLink
