You’re invited to Western Canada’s largest Korean food and cultural event — just a short walk or roll from Lougheed Town Centre Station!
Held in a neighourhood known as Metro Vancouver’s Koreatown, the first Kimchi and K-Food Festival takes place on Friday, Sept. 5 and Saturday, Sept. 6.
We’ll be celebrating alongside the community, so grab a bite and come find us! We’ll be there on Friday to answer your transit questions and share resources and give you the low-down on how to be an expert transit rider.

- 📸 Snap a picture in Hanbok, the traditional Korean attire, in front of palace backcdrops

How to get there
- 🚇 Ride the SkyTrain: The festival is just steps from Lougheed Town Centre Station, a station along both the SkyTrain’s Expo Line and Millennium Line — making it easy to connect to from many parts of Metro Vancouver.
- 🚍 Ride the bus: There are a number of buses that go to Lougheed Town Centre Station, including two express buses. Ride TransLink’s 555 Port Mann Express from Highway 1 & 156 Street or Carvolth Exchange. Ride BC Transit’s 66 Fraser Valley Express if you’re coming from Abbotsford or Chilliwack.

- Tap to pay an adult cash fare using a contactless debit or credit card.
- Tap in and out at SkyTrain stations and SeaBus terminals, and tap in only on buses.
- Kids 12 and under ride transit for free!

- Riding the 66 Fraser Valley Express? This route is separate from the TransLink system and operated by BC Transit. You can pay your BC Transit fare using Umo.
