The West Coast Express celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year. To commemorate three decades of service, we’re launching a limited-edition Compass Mini-West Coast Express.
This highly collectible Compass Mini-West Coast Express is a must-have for any rail fan, collector, or commuter. You can pick up the limited-edition West Coast Express Compass Mini on Saturday, Nov. 1. at 10 a.m. at the TransLink Customer Service Centre at Waterfront Station.
Only 4,000 adult and 1,000 concession Compass Mini-West Coast Express will be available, while supplies last and a limit of two per person.
Just like your regular Compass Card, the Compass Mini can be loaded with Stored Value or a Monthly Pass, and used across all transit modes — bus, SkyTrain, SeaBus, and West Coast Express. It even comes with a handy keychain so you can tap on with ease.

Don’t just grab your Compass Mini-West Coast Express and go! Stay for the fun and join in for the celebration right at Waterfront Station and includes prize giveaways, musical performances, a photo op on the West Coast Express locomotive, and a meet and greet with West Coast Express staff.
The party runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at West Coast Express platform at Waterfront Station.

Just got 2 adult limited edition compass cards after waiting in a line-up since 6:30 AM! I took the first Skytrain going to Waterfront from Royal Oak station.

The West Coast express is a commuter rail line owned by translink [Formerly British Columbia Transportation Authority], it was registered as an official railway in 1995 and obtained the reporting mark WCE. The west coast express has 7 main locomotives numbered 901-907,
906 being an MP36PH3C locomotive and all others being F59PHIs. Stations: Waterfront [T1], Moody Center, Coquitlam Central Station, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Port Haney [Maple Ridge], Mission City [Mission] [T2] and vice versa order.
