Every ride counts — commuting to work, biking to the store, connecting to transit, or heading out on a recreational ride.

Stop by a Celebration Station 🚵🏽

One of the highlights of Go by Bike Week is the network of Celebration Stations popping up across Metro Vancouver throughout the week.

More than 30 Celebration and Community Stations will be set up outside workplaces, shopping areas, and transit hubs where riders can stop for:

  • Free basic bike maintenance and safety checks
  • Snacks, coffee, and refreshments
  • Cycling maps and route resources
  • Prizes and giveaways
  • Tips from HUB Cycling volunteers and local cycling advocates

Celebration Stations are designed to make biking easier and more welcoming for people of all ages and experience levels.

Connect your ride with transit 🚍

Cycling and transit make a great team! They help customers travel farther while staying flexible and active. Across Metro Vancouver, TransLink’s regional cycling network makes it easier to combine biking with SkyTrain, SeaBus, and bus trips for commuting, errands, or recreation.

Customers can bring their bikes on SkyTrain, buses, and SeaBus at no extra cost, with all buses across the system equipped with front-mounted bike racks. Many transit stations also offer secure bike parking options, including bike lockers and Bike Parkades at select locations. These give riders a safe and convenient place to store their bikes while they continue their trip.

Looking to plan your route? TransLink’s Trip Planner can help you map out transit connections, and regional cycling maps are available online to help riders find safer and more comfortable routes throughout Metro Vancouver.

Join the movement 🚴🏻‍♀️

Go by Bike Week is more than just a fun challenge. Every trip logged helps demonstrate demand for safer and more connected cycling infrastructure across Metro Vancouver.
