Teeny inflation adjustment for Golden Ears Bridge tolls, Sun July 15 2012

Ahoy hoy — the tolls on the Golden Ears Bridge will get a planned inflation-rate adjustment next week, on Sunday, July 15, 2012!
The increases range from five to 20 cents, and I’ve listed the specific details below.

I would like to see motorcycles and mopeds be permitted to use the bridge for free with a transponder (if this is somehow possible) or video tolling.
The number of people using these modes of transport is small enough that encouraging their use would not cost very much and would be beneficial to the region as a whole.
It would also be a call back to the days motorcycles got first crack at the Albion ferry!
Other programmes could be instituted to encourage cross river commerce between the two communities by offering a credit to low income users who live and work on opposite sides of the river.
