Bus Route Buzz : Horseshoe Bay
Bus Route Buzz : Horseshoe Bay
Great news Horseshoe Bay! This Bus Route Buzz is all about you! As part of Summer Service changes, we’ve increased frequency on route 257: Horseshoe Bay.
As a reminder, many of the bus service improvements taking place as part of Summer Service Change are made possible thanks to the 10-Year Vision. These improvements are part of a three-year roll out in the biggest transportation expansion in nearly a decade! These service improvements will help to reduce crowding, improve service frequency and capacity issues as well as expanding routes into under-serviced areas. Check out the upcoming changes to the bus network as a part of this plan here.
We’ve heard you 257 riders! Effective June 24, we added more capacity during the busiest periods throughout the week to the Horseshoe Bay/Vancouver Express route. That translates to additional service on weekdays in the late morning and evening peak, Saturday afternoons and evenings and weekend and holiday evenings. This means that passengers will be able to travel this popular route with a little more ease.
But wait! There’s more! This change is permanent so you’ll be able to enjoy the convenience of more frequent express bus service running between Horseshoe Bay and Downtown Vancouver all year long!

Awesome to hear! But there should be one more late night express bus to connect when the 9:30pm ferry gets in around 11:20pm. Particularly on Sunday when lots of people are returning to Vancouver.
