We continue to salt and sand bus loops and SkyTrain stations, but please use caution in these areas and remember to dress warmly in anticipation of potential delays.

Expect extra crowding on some routes To provide improved traction, many articulated buses have been switched with standard, 40 foot buses. This will mean some modified service, with increased crowding and the possibility of passups in some areas.

HandyDART is currently operating regular service.

First look: the upgraded Commercial–Broadway Station

Get ready to experience Commercial–Broadway Station in a whole new way! The new platform, Platform 5, opens on February 2, along with two new elevators, four new up/down escalators, a new walkway over Broadway and two new “next train” information displays.

TransLink invited news media for a behind-the-scenes tour in advance of its opening. Of course, The Buzzer blog was there too! Check out the photos:

Any updates/photos/timeline for Surrey Central Station upgrades?
Translink website for Surrey Upgrades has been left abandoned with multiple broken links and still shows fall 2018 completion. SoF needs some love too.

I wonder why are the two columns being painted red instead of white? And they don’t have lights around the columns on the floor. Thanks.

Hey Troy, great question! The ones painted red are part of an art installation. We have an interview with the artist in the hopper, so stay tuned!
