Our 3D “MicroCity” model of Metro Vancouver and animated story will tell the tale! The MicroCity is made up of a 3D printed model and a gigantic LED display that will show you how the region has evolved. Find out how canoes, steam locomotives, streetcars and transit and automobiles changed the way we move. Learn about the key decisions that have shaped the layout of our communities. Accompanied by narration, lights, sound, and music, you’re invited to get to know the region!

It wouldn’t be Transport 2050 without a glimpse into what’s coming. Take a journey into 2050 by donning a pair of virtual reality googles. See what Metro Vancouver could look like in three decades and experience what future transportation could feel like.
