Take transit to BMO’s Vancouver Marathon
The BMO Vancouver Marathon takes place Sunday, May 1, and transit takes you there!
Know before you go:
Several bus routes within the race corridor will be modified at certain times during the day to accommodate the Marathon. The following routes are affected: 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 15, 17, 19, 22, 25, 33, 41, 49, 99, 160, 210, 211, 240, 246, C18, C20, and 23. A full list of reroutes can be found at translink.ca/alerts.
Bus
Several bus routes will be modified at certain times during the day to accommodate the Marathon. The following routes are affected: 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 15, 17, 19, 22, 25, 33, 41, 49, 99, 160, 210, 211, 240, 246, C18, C20, and 23.
Eight additional buses will be available to service the lower half of 49th Ave. from Cambie to Dunbar streets since there will be road closures on 49th Ave. from Cambie St. to Marine Dr.
SkyTrain
Expo, Millennium and Canada lines will all operate regular Sunday service. Where possible, race participants and spectators are encouraged to use the Canada Line via Oakridge-41st Station to make it to the Start Line in Queen Elizabeth Park on Midlothian Ave near Hillcrest Community Centre.
West Coast Express
West Coast Express does not operate on weekends.
