Say hello to a new service that connects King George Station, Gloucester Business Centre in Langley, and Abbotsford International Airport (YXX) along Highway 1! We’ve worked with and leased space to ACE Charters to run a shuttle service along this corridor to enhance regional connections.

Delivering on Transport 2050

Transport 2050 is our regional transportation strategy for the next 30 years and it outlines projects, services, and polices to make transportation better for everyone. In particular, we identified channeling private sector innovation as way we can achieve improved transportation for our growing region by filling gaps in the network.

Connecting more of Langley and the Fraser Valley

Gloucester Business Centre, which is located along Highway 1 near 264 Street in the Township of Langley, is an area that previously only accessible by car. With this license agreement with ACE Charters, we’re able to connect King George Station to the business centre. This new shuttle service and stop for employees working in Gloucester is the first step towards us offering direct connectivity to TransLink’s transit network and bringing new transportation services to the area.

How does this service work?

This service operates independently of any TransLink service, which means separate fares (no Compass Cards, sorry!), operators, vehicles, and riders will need to pre-book their trip. Think of it like a coach bus! ACE Charters picks up and drops off riders from King George Station.

Here are some cool features of the service:

• 6 daily, round-trip schedules between King George Station, Gloucester Business Centre, and Abbotsford International Airport, including weekends and holidays
• Flat fee of $10/one-way, $18/round-trip (excluding taxes)
• Buses from Abbotsford International Airport are aligned with the arrivals schedule
• Real-time updates of the seating capacity, location of buses, and delays with Liftango
