Ride and Shine with TransLink at the PNE Fair, Aug. 19 to Sept. 4
We’re back at the PNE Fair and we’re so excited to invite you to stop by!
Our exhibits this year are at three locations: between the Pacific Coliseum and the PNE Prize Home, the Revel District, and by the Hastings and Renfrew entrance near the PNE Forum.
Here’s what you can see and do!
Tour our buses
The PNE Fair is your chance to board our buses outside of their natural habitat!
Experience firsthand why the double-decker bus is a fan favourite with its panoramic views from the upper deck. We are one of only a handful of transit systems in Canada and the United States that operate double-decker buses. Look for our Tap in to Win bus and register your Compass Card for a chance to win weekly prizes or the grand prize of five years of free transit in Metro Vancouver!
Check out our PrideBus! This year, we partnered with distinguished local artist Joe Average to create a one-of-a-kind bus wrap featuring his iconic piece, Bee Line.
Ask questions on board the “Ride and Shine” bus. Discover how you can go car-free this summer and bike, walk, ride, and roll to events. Plus! Learn how you can unlock special offers and discounts to your favourite summer spots with your Compass Card — including the PNE Fair. On 2-for-1 Fair Fridays, the first 5,000 people to show their Compass Card or proof of transit fare receive 2-for-1 admission to the PNE Fair, so get there early!

Transit through Metro Vancouver’s transit history
Board the historical, museum bus — a 1957 General Motors TDH-4512 bus, or commonly referred to as the “old look” bus. Why is it called that? You’ll want to stop by and ask one of the Transit Museum Society volunteers why!
Check out transit artifacts, memorabilia, and a timeline of transit in Metro Vancouver from 1890 to now.
