Take transit to Car Free Day: Main Street on Sept. 14

Car Free Day on Main Street!

Summer’s not over yet with still so much to see and do before the winter rain rolls in — including two more Car Free Days! Next up is Car Free Day: Main Street on Saturday, Sept. 14.

It takes over Main Street for 20 blocks, between E. 10th Ave. and and E. 30th Ave., for a free and family-friendly street festival that features live performances, local vendors, community booths, food trucks and interactive activities.

The live music performers include Lenny Pallerstein, Terminal Station, Randy Swallow Trio, Weak Knees, Blake Harvard Band, The Quixotic Neurotics, and the Sarah McLachlan School of Music.

Leave the car at home and take transit to Car Free Day: Main Street!

The best part of riding transit or bike, walking, riding and rolling to the event is you can walk from one end of the event to the other, and just head right home afterwards.
