Now arriving: 99 B-Line Blueberry and Honey Sparkling Soda
What’s the perfect way to celebrate 30 years of the 99 B-Line? With a refreshing new route to flavour town
Introducing the 99 B-Line Blueberry and Honey Sparkling Soda, a limited-edition collaboration between TransLink and Callister Craft Soda.
Launching on August 19, this refreshing summer beverage celebrates 30 years of the 99 B-Line while showcasing another creative way we’re generating non-fare revenue that can be reinvested back into the transit system.
A toast to 30 years of the 99
Since launching on September 3, 1996, the 99 B-Line has become a Metro Vancouver favourite, connecting customers across the region and earning its place as TransLink’s busiest bus route year after year.
Between 2022 and 2025 alone, the route averaged more than 10.5 million boardings annually, helping millions of customers get to work, school, appointments, and everywhere in between.
Now, we’re celebrating this milestone with a limited-edition drink inspired by one of the most recognizable routes in the system.
Crafted close to home
We’ve partnered with Vancouver-based Callister Craft Soda to bring the 99 B-Line Blueberry and Honey Sparkling Soda to life.
Made with locally sourced ingredients, including blueberries and honey, this crisp and refreshing beverage is the perfect companion for the final weeks of summer.
Callister takes its name from historic Callister Park, the East Vancouver community sports stadium established in 1921 across from the PNE. For founder Chris Lay, the connection is personal: his grandfather served as the park’s caretaker from 1949 to 1970 and lived in a suite beneath the grandstands.
Where to buy
Starting August 19, you’ll be able to find the 99 B-Line Blueberry and Honey Sparkling Soda at the Callister Craft Soda tent at the Vancouver Farmers Market Downtown location, at Hornby Street and West Georgia Street.
The market runs every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. through December 23, 2026.
