Perk up your commute with new TransLink x Trees coffee and tea

Pairs well with a sweet treat!

Coffee or tea? A timeless debate with no wrong answer.

Whatever you pick, we’ve got good news.

TransLink has teamed up with local favourite Trees Organic Coffee & Cheesecake to launch a limited-edition coffee and tea collection inspired by transit across Metro Vancouver.

Whether you’re grabbing a coffee and a treat before hopping on the SkyTrain or bus to go to work or meeting friends downtown, Trees has long been part of many customers’ daily journeys.

Trees has eight cafés located at or near SkyTrain stations, so it’s likely you’ve seen them on your commute. Another one is on the way — a ninth location is opening soon at Braid Station.

Now you can brew a taste of Trees at home, with a transit twist.

A taste of Metro Vancouver

The limited-edition collection, aptly named Travelling Through Taste, features:

  • Costa Rica Aquiares Entre Rios coffee beans, with smooth notes of caramel and milk chocolate.
    • 200 grams of whole coffee beans
    • $16.99
  • Organic Raspberry Peach tea, a caffeine-free blend bursting with fruity flavour.
    • 200 grams of loose leaf tea
    • $24.99
Bright florals, deep brown beans, and our iconic TransLink vehicles appear on the packaging.

The exclusive coffee and tea are available now at all 17 Trees locations across Metro Vancouver, while supplies last.

The packaging features SkyTrain, bus and SeaBus weaving in and out of greenery, and the beautiful scent remains long after the coffee or tea has been consumed.

More than just a great cup of coffee

This partnership is part of TransLink’s ongoing efforts to find creative ways to generate revenue beyond fares.

Collaborations like this not only support local businesses but give TransLink new opportunities to earn revenue. It can then be reinvested into the transit system, addressing funding shortfalls and improving customer journeys.

A local success story

From bag to beans, to a comforting cup of coffee!

Founded in Vancouver in 1996, Trees Organic Coffee & Cheesecake is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. What started as a single café has grown to 17 locations across Metro Vancouver, known for its coffee, cheesecakes, and commitment to sourcing locally whenever possible.

Trees’ high-quality beans are carefully roasted at their 970 George St. location in Vancouver.

Through this limited-edition collaboration, customers can support a local business and local transit while enjoying a unique blend created just for the occasion.
