Road construction in Langley detours the C62

Road construction will close Glover Road from Highway 10 to Labonte Avenue in Langley, Nov. 8–9. The C62 will be detoured.

Township of Langley and CP Rail road construction will close Glover Road from Highway 10 to Labonte Avenue in Langley this Wednesday, November 8 and Thursday, November 9.

During the affected days, detours will be in place for the C62 Walnut Grove/Langley Centre bus route:

  • For service between Langley Centre and Trinity Western University (TWU): The northbound C62 leaving from Langley Centre will follow its regular route until Highway 10, then detour to TWU via Highway 10, 232nd Street, Rawlison Crescent then southbound on Glover to TWU. Buses will terminate on Glover at Trinity Western University, and then return to Langley Centre along the same detour route as close to schedule as possible.
  • For service between Carvolth Exchange and Trinity Western University: A special shuttle service will operate using the regular C62 route from TWU.

Customers should plan ahead and allow for extra travel time. Significant delays are expected for the C62 on these two days, so expect that the service won’t run exactly as regularily scheduled.

Those who are travelling between Langley Centre and TWU should plan for an extra 10 to 20 minutes of travel. While customers that will need to transfer between the C62 and the special shuttle service between TWU and Carvolth Exchange, should plan for an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
