Take transit to the PNE Fair, Aug. 20 to Sept. 5
Whether it’s sports games, concerts or a night out on the town, no matter the event, we’re here to take you to the people and places you love, and back home again. Throughout the year, we increase transit service to marquee events in Metro Vancouver.
Take the 16 PNE special bus every day of the PNE Fair, August 20 to September 5 (closed Mondays, except Labour Day). Please note the PNE Fair’s continuing to operate with limited capacity this this year, so they’re recommending you purchase your date-specific tickets early.
The 16 PNE special bus operates every 15 minutes between the Expo Line’s 29th Avenue Station, the Millennium Line’s Renfrew Station, and the Pacific Coliseum.
The first bus departs from 29th Avenue Station (Bay 5, Stop #61616) at 10:33 a.m. and from Renfrew Station (Bay 3, Stop #51083) at 10:40 a.m. The last bus departs from the Pacific Coliseum (Stop #58030) at 11:11 p.m.
This is in addition to the usual transit service in the area, which includes the 14 Hastings / UBC, 16 29th Avenue Station / Arbutus, R5 Hastings St RapidBus, 210 Upper Lynn Valley / Burrard Station, and 211 Seymour / Burrard Station.
The 16 Arbutus/29th Avenue Station bus, along Renfrew Street, operates every 10 minutes throughout the day. On Hastings Street, the R5 Hastings St RapidBus provides 10 minutes or better service during peak times, and 15 minutes or better the rest of the day.

yes it’s PNE time, and once again transit fails to make the grade. All of their plans focus on the pacific coliseum transit site. if you want to get a bus that stops at the other gate, that’s by Playland you are hooped after 7 pm going either way. Yes there’s a stop at Windermere/East Hastings. There are no buses stop there for the rest of the night. what’s up with that? why should people have to schlep up the hill to Kootenay loop? why should people have to schlep up the hill from Playland to Renfew/East Hastings stop to go downtown. not everyone wants to go to Skytrain.
