Conveniently pick up your Amazon packages at a transit hub
Pick up your Amazon package on your schedule and at a transit hub!
TransLink and Amazon have partnered to introduce Amazon Lockers at popular transit hubs across Metro Vancouver. This includes Bridgeport Station, Newton Exchange, Carvolth Exchange, and South Surrey Park and Ride.
To take advantage of this new convenient way to pick up your Amazon package, simply select the “deliver to a shared locker near me” at checkout. There’s no additional cost.
“This is an exciting initiative designed to improve our customer experience,” says TransLink CEO Kevin Quinn. “TransLink will be the first transit agency in Canada to introduce Amazon lockers at transit hubs.”
A key pillar of TransLink’s Customer Experience Action plan is to deliver a transit system that is more personalized, tailoring our services to meet customer needs and preferences. Over the last few years, consumer behaviour has changed as people are choosing to shop online more than ever before.
By partnering with Amazon on this initiative, we’re meeting the evolving needs and preferences of our shared customers by allowing them seamlessly to pick up their Amazon packages on their way home on transit.
How to use Amazon lockers:
- Shop: Shop as usual on the Amazon website. Add an item to your basket and proceed to checkout.
- Select: Select your preferred Locker location as your delivery address at checkout.
- Email: Once your package has arrived, Amazon will email you pick up your package.
- Unlock: Use your smartphone to unlock the door.
- Retrieve: Retrieve your package after the door opens.
You can find more details on Amazon lockers on their website.

So…. Only Amazon?
What if I have packages from Canada Post?
In my opinion, would have been better off just partnering with those other companies where it can accept more than just Amazon packages. Just forcing us to buy more from a global company in our crippling economy.

Hey Translink,
Have you considered maybe putting more of our tax dollars towards something local that could at least boost our economy? Just a thought.
Disappointing that Translink decided to work with a mega corporation rather than one of the fantastic local companies we have here, which could’ve helped support our own economy especially at this time.
Had they partnered with other businesses, it might have accepted shipments from more than just Amazon. In this suffocating economy, all you’re doing is making us purchase more from a multinational corporation.
