TransLink’s iconic PrideBus returns for 48th annual Vancouver Pride Parade
TransLink’s PrideBus will once again join the Vancouver Pride Parade on Sunday, August 2, rolling alongside employees in celebration and support of the region’s 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
This year, the PrideBus features a ‘90s-inspired wrap. The bold portraits, rainbow colours and playful icons celebrate the creativity, diversity and resilience of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
The design reflects a transformative decade for Pride, both globally and in Vancouver. As 2SLGBTQIA+ visibility and representation grew in the 1990s, Pride events expanded into the vibrant celebrations recognized today, and Davie Village became firmly established as the heart of Vancouver’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community and culture.
