Ready for kickoff? The world’s biggest tournament is coming to Vancouver from June 13 to July 7, and we’re gearing up to take you to the centre of the action!
With FIFA World Cup 2026 Vancouver right around the corner, TransLink is preparing an enhanced, tournament-ready transit system that will bring thousands of commuters where they need to go smoothly, while highlighting the global energy of this generational event.
Whether you’re heading to a match, making your way to the FIFA Fan Festival, or just going about your day, transit will be part of the celebration from the moment you board.

A legendary voice to steer your journey 🎤
A Canadian soccer legend will play a key role in guiding fans to their destination.
Olympic gold medalist and all-time leading goal scorer Christine Sinclair is teaming up with TransLink as a guest voice on the transit system throughout the tournament.
You’ll hear the Burnaby-born soccer star’s voice on buses, SkyTrain, SeaBus, and the West Coast Express, helping guide customers to matches at BC Place stadium and key destinations like the FIFA Fan Festival Vancouver at the PNE.
Sinclair will also pop up on passenger screens in SkyTrain stations and on social media, sharing helpful tips so you can feel confident navigating the system.

Live performances across the network 🎉
Transit hubs will be buzzing with live performances throughout the tournament to amp up transit journey!

- Yuki the Juggler & Alvin Brendan – July 2, 5:30 p.m., 29th Avenue Station
